Stoqo ("we", "our", "us") provides billing, inventory, purchase, and reporting features for retail businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect:

• Account details (name, email, phone, login metadata)
• Store details (store name, RC/GST identifiers, geolocation/address)
• Business transaction data (sales, purchases, stock, invoices, returns, exchanges)
• Device and app diagnostics (crash logs, app version, basic technical metadata)

3. DATA WE DO NOT INTENTIONALLY COLLECT

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health data, biometric identifiers, or government identity numbers unless you manually enter such information into business fields.

4. PERMISSIONS AND DEVICE ACCESS

The app may request:

• Camera access for barcode scanning
• File/media access for invoice PDF generation and sharing
• Network access for data sync and API communication
• SMS access (Android only) solely to auto-read OTP messages sent by Stoqo during login and account verification. We do not read, store, or transmit any other SMS messages. This permission is used exclusively for auto-filling the one-time password you receive from us and is never used for any other purpose.

Permissions are used only for core app functions and can be controlled in device settings.

5. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use collected data to:

• Authenticate users (including OTP-based login via SMS auto-read)
• Create and manage stores and inventory
• Process sales, purchases, returns, and exchanges
• Generate invoices and share them through user-initiated channels
• Improve reliability, security, and performance

6. DATA SHARING

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:

• Service providers that help us operate infrastructure
• Legal authorities where required by law
• Payment, messaging, or platform integrations triggered by your actions

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain account and business records while your account is active or as required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute handling purposes. When an account is deleted, associated personal data is removed or anonymised in accordance with applicable law, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or dispute resolution obligations.

8. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. ACCOUNT DELETION

You can permanently delete your Stoqo account directly from within the app by going to the Account section and selecting "Delete Account". Upon deletion:

• Your profile, store data, and personal information will be permanently removed from our systems.
• Business records (invoices, sales history) may be retained for the period required by applicable law for tax and accounting compliance.
• Deletion is irreversible. You will lose access to all data associated with your account.

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you may contact us at admin@stoqo.in to request manual deletion.

10. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data. You may also delete your account permanently through the app (see Section 9).

11. CHILDREN

This app is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We apply appropriate safeguards where required.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by the updated date and, where required, additional notice.
